The Blair County Chamber of Commerce hosted a debate Thursday morning between 79th district state representative candidates Republican Dr. John McGinnis and Democrat Richard Flarend.
Blair County Democratic Party Chair Frank Rosenhoover says even though he didn’t necessarily consider the event a true debate with its crafted questions and limited rebuttal times he did think it was time well spent for those in attendance.
Around 150 people attended the event at the Blair County Convention Center.
