Another Big Drug Bust In Altoona

The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigation has announced the arrests of five people following the execution of a search warrant at 1011 18th Avenue on Tuesday evening.

Police say that 39 year old Roman Skeeter McCray and 30 year old Sean Shinie Morris had flushed heroin and cocaine down a toilet when officers arrived on scene. The drugs were retrieved from the toilet.

The investigation and calls to the Push Out the Pusher hotline led police to find out that McCray was selling drugs from that location for a couple weeks.

Police confiscated 161 Packets of heroin with a street value of about $4,000, about $5,600 worth of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, drug packaging equipment and paraphernalia, about $1,000 cash and numerous cell phones.

In addition to McCray who is from Pittsburgh and Morris who is from Martinsburg West Virginia, others arrested included 30 year old Heather Dawn Saylor, 31 year old Elizabeth Sue Hornberger and 28 year old Joseph Earl Despot, all of 1011 18th Avenue.

The investigation received financial support from Operation Our Town.
