Blair County commissioners agreed Tuesday to hire local real estate agent Richard Johnston to prepare the appraisal of Valley View Home and the grounds around the facility.
The appraisal will cost the county $3,500.
Chicago firm Marcus & Millichap is handling the sale of Valley View Home and they say that interest in the home has exceeded expectations.
