Baltimore Man Arrested In Blair County Drug Bust



The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation has announced the drug arrest of a Baltimore man living in Altoona.
 
39 year old Patrick Andago Omeea Barnes is facing charges following a search of his 101 Crawford Avenue home.
 
An investigation began a year ago regarding Barnes distributing a large amount of crack cocaine out of his residence. The search warrant yielded over a half ounce of individually packaged gram baggies of suspected crack cocaine, with a Street value in excess of $1500, scales, distribution materials, and a small amount of marijuana. Officers also seized a home computer system and Barnes’ car.
 
Officers had conducted eight controlled buys of crack cocaine, all of which include mandatory sentencing enhancements for the weight purchased.
 
Barnes has an extensive felony drug distribution record from Baltimore, Maryland. The current charges against Barnes include Delivery and Posession with intent to deliver crack cocaine along with other related drug charges. More charges are likely to be filed against Barnes upon the completion of the investigation.
 
Calls to Drug hotline assisted the investigation which was funded by Operation Our Town.
