Eleven alleged drug dealers are in custody following a raid Tuesday in Bedford County.
 
District Attorney Bill Higgins says drug taskforce members participating in “Operation Summer Catch” hit the streets armed with arrest warrants for 17 individuals. The ten month long investigation into the criminal activity got underway last October.
 
Higgins says a variety of illegal narcotics were taken off the streets because of the operation. Officers hope to have the last six of their alleged suspects in custody within the next few days.
