Blair State of the Courts Assembly Focuses on Technology
Technology in the judicial system was the theme of Tuesday’s Blair County State of the Courts Assembly.
The county’s five judges presided over the annual event, which updates the public and other elected officials on achievements and challenges facing the court system. Court Administrator Janice Meadows says this year’s theme focused on technology because the court system is embracing everything from e-payments to social media to video conferencing and electronic monitoring.
Denise Podrasky of the county’s Adult Parole department won this year’s “Raising the Bar” Award. The honor is given each year during the event and recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to help make the court system beneficial to the community.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
