Blair to Require Criminal Background Checks for Janitorial Contractors
Companies providing janitorial services to Blair County’s district courts and the 911 Center will now be required to conduct criminal background checks and drug tests on all their employees.
The commissioners threw out bids for the contract on Tuesday after deciding the change was needed because of the sensitive information contained in those offices.
Commissioner Diane Meling says it’s a move that’s long overdue.
Meling says there has never been an issue at any of the facilities. The county will re-bid for janitorial services within the next few weeks.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
