The consulting team chosen by the Department of Community and Economic Development is expected to file their recovery plan with the city clerk on November 13th.
During Wednesday evening’s City Council meeting Councilman Dave Butterbaugh said he would like for some city officials to be able to review the plan before it’s released to the general public.
Butterbaugh says a “heads up” would be beneficial to the process.
The plan, anticipated to be 300 and 500 pages long, is expected to outline various cost cutting measures and allow for revenue enhancement by doing away with caps on earned income and real estate taxes.
