DUI Checkpoint Nets Four Arrests

It was another busy weekend for officers operating a DUI checkpoint in Blair County.
The Friday night sobriety enforcement event netted four drivers who are accused of being behind the wheel impaired. One of the motorists has also been charged with endangering the welfare of a child because a minor was inside the vehicle at the time.
A total of 662 motorists were processed through the checkpoint – and 46 citations and warnings were issued for equipment violations. DUI taskforce members say they remain committed to the ongoing effort of keeping local roadways safe from those who are driving impaired.
