A Blair County man had to be tased by police over the weekend following a family dispute.
According to state police, it all started a few minutes before 12AM Sunday at a home on Hedberg Lane in Tyrone Township.
34 year old David Earl Harris Junior broke into his in-laws house and assaulted his wife Alicia Jo with a hunting knife. She was staying with her parents because of a recent fight with Harris.
Police say Alicia Jo’s father defended his daughter by hitting Harris in the head with the butt of a rifle.
When troopers arrived on scene they had to tase Harris to take him into custody.
No one else was seriously injured in the incident.
Charges against Harris include Burglary, Aggravated Assault, and Resisting Arrest.
