A local Girl Scout Troop is collecting items for a very worthy cause.
Girl Scout Troop 46476 is collecting gently worn sweaters and new socks for patients at local nursing homes in Blair County.
Donations are being accepted through the end of November.
Donation boxes are located at Blair Candy Company, Fiore True-Value Hardware, Imler's Poultry, Mallow's Hardware, Pleasant Valley Bowling Center and Slinky Action Zone.
