Greenfield Township to Get Polling Station Upgrade
Blair County will spend about $2,500 in Community and Block Grand Development Dollars to make handicap upgrades at the Greenfield Township municipal building.
Planning commission spokeswoman Trina Illig says the money is coming from grant monies the county had left over from another project. She says the dollars can be spent in Greenfield Township because it’s considered a low-to-moderate income area.
Blair County elections officials have been working diligently over the past several years to bring their polling stations into handicap compliance.
