One of Blair County’s busiest bridges will close for construction beginning June 11^th.
 
Engineer Shawn Ritchey tells WRTA News that preparations are underway this week in advance of Juniata’s North 8^th Street Bridge rehabilitation project. 
 

 
Ritchey says the project will be done in such a way as to get the roadway reopened before the fall.
 

 
Ritchey says an attempt to design a way to keep one lane open during the project was scratched because it would have created severe traffic tie ups.
