Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Jim Cawley was in Blair County on Thursday.
Cawley toured the New Pig manufacturing facility, where he met with employees and learned how the company is growing because of the state’s expanded natural gas industry.
Cawley says he’s impressed with the products the company has introduced specifically for spill containment in the natural gas industry.
New Pig officials say they have added jobs to keep up with demand. The company makes 4,000 products which are used in 70 countries around the world.
More than 360 people are employed at the Tipton complex.
