According to police, 52 year old Brenda Shultz bought a gun for her boyfriend, Jeffrey Lee Michael in January of 2011. That gun was used on December 21 when Michael went on a shooting spree killing three people. He was then shot and killed after firing on police.
Shultz has been charged with a third degree felony and two third-degree misdemeanors for allegedly giving false information while purchasing the handgun.
Shultz says she filed state and federal paperwork claming the gun wss for her when she actually intended to get the gun for Michael.
