Logan Township officials are hopeful that their former municipal building will sell by the end of the year.
Board members said Thursday that the City of Altoona, Blair County and Altoona School District have signed off on a Keystone Opportunity Zone designation that will allow for property and other tax breaks. Supervisor Ed Frontino says he hope’s to advertise the property for bids within the next two months.
At least two parties are interested in the site – and the board is hopeful more will come forward after the KOZ designation goes into effect.
