A drug investigation continues after local police arrested a McKees Rocks man late last week.
35 year old Allen Nowlin was taken into custody Thursday when he brought $1300 worth of heroin into Blair County to be sold. Officers were led on a high speed chase into Cambria County before apprehending Nowlin. The pursuit began on Plank Road in Altoona where Nowlin threw a fully loaded, stolen 9mm semi-automatic handgun out his vehicle window while traveling at high speeds. The firearm was reported stolen through the Pittsburgh Police Department.
With the assistance of multiple Blair County Agencies, State Police, and Cambria County Municipal Police Officers, Nowlin was stopped and arrested on State Route 22 in Ebensburg.
Nowlin is a convicted felon of numerous offenses, prohibited from owning or possession any firearm.
Charges include Delivery of a controlled substance, several firearms violations, Fleeing and eluding police, and Reckless driving.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
