A registered sex offender has been arrested by city police for a Megan’s Law violation.
 
Around 2pm Wednesday 42 year old Donald Guess was taken into custody for failure to comply with Registration of Sexual Offenders Requirements.
 
Guess is required to be registered for a period of 10-years because of a prior Indecent Assault conviction. An investigation revealed that he moved from his Megan’s Law registered address of 2211 Beale Avenue, Apt 1, Altoona to 700 North 9th Street, Bellwood and failed to make required notification within 48 hours to the Pennsylvania State Police.
