There was a fire over the weekend near our transmitter site over the weekend - some very important and hard-to-replace transmission lines to the transmittler were destroyed.
Verizon is working on it, and we'll back back as soon as they can replace them.

Today's morning Talkblock shows with Roger Corey and other Altoona Radio Legends and Musicologist Jerry Zolten will be replayed at later dates.

If it's frustrating for you -  Thank you, we'll take that as a compliment, and we appreciate your patience.

Redundancy?
There's no other way to get audio to your transmitter? Get a smartphone out to the tx site, "ListenLive" on it, then patch that into the tx input. And you didn't always have a special Verizon line; where's the hardware you used to use? Reggie Arford rarford@nb.net

We've had a special Verizon line since at least 1998. I'm not sure what they did before that. Also, can we borrow your smart phone?
