The latest plan for new legislative districts in the state came before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court yesterday.
The General Assembly's legislative redistricting committee drew up new maps in April. That document set the boundaries for the 203 house and 50 senate districts in the state.
Thursday's hearing was required because an earlier version of that plan was rejected as unconstitutional by the State's High Court.
The map currently under review by the court would take effect for the 2014 elections if approved by the State's Supreme Court.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
