PSU Altoona Dorm Bathroom Plastered with Hateful Graffiti

Penn State Altoona Police are investigating a case of racially motivated vandalism.
University spokeswoman Shari Routch tells WRTA News the damage was discovered when resident assistants began to move in last Thursday ahead of the beginning of the fall term. Officials say someone spray-painted ethnically derogatory words, letters and insignias on the walls of a second floor rest room in Oak Hall.
Routch says there is no evidence that the building was forcibly entered. University Police say the information about the investigation was released to the public because of the Federal Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is urged to contact Penn State Altoona Police at 949-5222.
