The Central Pennsylvania Rails to Trails group presented a study to a group in Hollidaysburg Tuesday night.
Their goal is to connect a trail from the Flowing Spring Trailhead through Canal Basin Park, eventually coming to the National Park Service's Six through Ten Trail.
They would like to connect a trail from the historic lemon house in Cambria County to Alexandria, Huntingdon County.
Organizers say the trail would bring recreational and economic benefits to the area.
The next step for the group will be contacting property owners and fundraising.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
