Severe thunderstorms disrupted the end of the holiday weekend last night in our area.
Reidents in the northern part of Blair County experienced some heavy rainfall, while most everyone else saw the night skies light up with a dazzling display of lightning.
Cambria County was hit much harder last night. Emergency officials say several streets and roadways were flooded. Most of the heaviest rainfall occurred around Northern Cambria and Carrolltown. Classes are cancelled today in the Northern Cambria school District because of flooding from last night’s storms.
