Sliced Apple Recall

Pennsylvania is one of 36 states involved in a recall of sliced apples sold at McDonald's and Burger King.

The fruit may have been contaminated with listeria before being shipped.

A subsidiary of Ready Pac has recalled nearly 300,000 cases and 300,000 individually packs.

No illnesses have been reported in association with this voluntary recall.

Listeria can cause potentially serious or life-threatening illness accompanied by fever, nausea, or diarrhea.
