We have an update on the Christmas Eve standoff between an Altoona man and city police.
64 year old Martin Robert Sarvis of 5523 5th Avenue has been arrested and charged with causing the 17 hour standoff with police at his residence on Christmas Eve into Christmas Day.
Sarvis is charged with two counts each of Aggravated Assault, Terrorisitic Threats, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Simple Assault.
Sarvis was arraigned Tuesday afternoon by Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller who committed him to Blair County Prison in lieu of $200,000 straight cash bail.
