State Police Drug Investigation Results In Charges Against Two Altoona Men
A two month State Police Vice Unit investigation starting in July has brought down two local alleged heroin dealers.
State Police say that on Wednesday a “buy bust” was conducted on 27 year old Bryan Warfield, of 230 Lexington Avenue. Warfield was arrested after he delivered a bundle of heroin to an undercover officer.
A search of his home turned up a stolen Hi-Point 9mm pistol and three bricks of heroin with each brick containing 50 packets of the drug. A search of his vehicle produced 47 additional packets of heroin.
Following Warfield’s arrest, Police turned their attention to 2608 6th Avenue looking for 34 year old Eric Ross. Ross wasn’t home when police arrived but a search of the residence turned up a scale and drug paraphernalia. Ross was later located and placed under arrest.
