Tree Clearing Work to Begin on Route 164 at the Clover Creek Bridge

Beginning today Route 164 in the area of the Clover Creek Bridge in North Woodbury Township, Blair County will be reduced to a single lane during daylight hours.

This will be done to begin tree clearing operations and demolition of a garage in preparation for temporary run-around that will be in place during construction. The work will be completed by the end of March.

Once this work is completed the contractor will move out of the area and will not return to begin bridge work until after June 15, due to stream restrictions.

All work on this $1.3 million project will be completed by May 2014.
