The United Way of Blair County has kicked-off its 2012-13 campaign.
 
Chairwoman Shari Routch says this year’s campaign will look a little different. She says the United Way will focus on how the money impacts lives in Blair County instead of following the traditional method of setting a monetary goal.
 

 
Routch says every little bit of money collected helps to change the lives of those in need. Last year the United Way was able to help nearly 40,000 local people through the money it took in.
