A clothing manufacturing and distribution company in Blair County has been sold.
The Warnaco group has been acquired by the PVH Corporation as part of a $2.9 billion international trade deal.
Warnaco has operated a host of clothing manufacturers and distribution centers in Altoona as well as a facility near Duncansville.
PVH owns the Tommy Hilfiger brand.
The deal is expected to bring together all of the Calvin Klein branded apparel companies and form one corporation.
It is not yet clear how the deal will impact local jobs.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
