Weekend Storm Knocks Power Out For Thousands In Blair County



Mother Nature wasn’t playing nice over the weekend and as a result thousands of people were left without electricity in Blair County.
 
A severe thunderstorm on Saturday left more than 4,500 Penelec customers mostly in Altoona, Logan Township, Frankstown Township and Hollidaysburg without power.
 
2,500 more customers had the lights go out in Cambria, Bedford and Huntingdon counties.
