There’ll be a bus trip to The American Music Theatre in Lancaster to see the musical “Inspire” Thursday July 23rd.  The bus leaves the Altoona Lowes parking lot 11am for the 3pm show, followed by dinner at your cost at Miller’s Smorgasbord.  $85 cost includes transportation and admission, and benefits the Altoona Symphony League.  Reservations are due by July 11th.  For information call 695-6360

The Altoona Area School District’s Annual Summer Food Program runs through July 31st.  Free meals are available for pre-school and school-age children through 18.  Hours are Monday through Friday – Breakfast 8:30 to 9:45am and Lunch from 11:30 to 1 at Altoona Area High School as well as Irving, Logan, Juniata, Penn-Lincoln, Baker, and Washington & Jefferson Elementary schools and Evergreen Manor.  Parents are permitted to purchase meals when they accompany their children - $2 for breakfast; $3 for lunch.  For information call 946-8270

The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired offers weekly educational  programs and socializing trips.  Each program is 10am, usually at the Association’s office, 300 5th Avenue Altoona.
