The First Annual Matt Baker Local Cancer Fund Motorcycle Run is Saturday May 30th in the Broad Top area of Saxton.  Registration begins 9am at the Eagle’s Nest in Broad Top City, the Blessing of Bikes and Kick Stands Up is 11am.  The ride ends at the Saxton’s Sportsman’s Grounds Pavilion.  Food and refreshments are available for riders, $15 for non-riders.  Single rider fee is $15; $25 for rider and passenger. United Way of Blair County’s 9th Annual Trash to Treasure Sale is 8am to Noon Saturday May 30th at Adler Gym on the Penn State Altoona Campus.  Admission if free, but there’ll be an Early Shopping Hour from 7 to 8 for a $5 admission.  There’ll be clothing, toys, electronics, furniture, small appliances and more.  Donations can be dropped off 10 to 2 at Adler Gym Tuesday through Friday.  Volunteers are also needed to help at the event.  For more information call 944-0884 ext 302 or log onto www.unitedwayofblaircounty.org
The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired will have a Longaburger Basket Fundraiser Sunday May 31st at the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona.
