The Hollidaysburg Community Partnership’s Annual Light Up Night is 5 to 7:30pm Friday November 28th downtown and on the Diamond.  The Annual Soup Sampling Contest if from 5 to 7pm and costs $6; and the lighting of the Winterfest Tree and the AMBUCS star on Chimney Rocks will be at 7, followed by fireworks.  For more info log onto www.hollidaysburg.org
St Luke's Episcopal Church  will have a Craft and Vendor Show to support Maddie's Journey 10am to 4pm Saturday November 29th There are more than twenty vendors, local crafters, food sales and an "Ugly Sweater" booth. The church is at 806 13th Street in Altoona

The Hollidaysburg Community Chorus’s annual show this year is “Images of Christmas” 7pm Saturday December 6th and 2pm Sunday the 7th at the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School Auditorium.  Guest Tenor Soloist is Richard Kennedy, plus the Children’s Community Chorus.  Tickets are $8 for adults $4 for children under 12, available at the door 
The Allegheny Chorale featuring the Blair County Brassworks will present A Season for Brass and Song 3pm Sunday December 7th at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1407 8th Avenue in Altoona and 7pm Tuesday December 9th at First Presbyterian Church, 102 West 13th Street in Tyrone. Both shows are free, no tickets required
