Two Tyrone men are facing assault charges after an altercation with another man over the weekend.
 
Borough Police say 21-year-old Alan Fink and 25-year-old Kevin Fink Jr. assaulted the 39-year-old victim along the 1500 Block of Columbia Avenue early Sunday morning. A borough police officer on routine patrol found the victim lying in the street covered in blood. According to a police report, both Alan and Kevin Fink took off running when the officer approached.
 
Alan Fink was apprehended following a short foot chase. Kevin Fink was taken into custody a short time later. The victim suffered a laceration on his face and is recovering. Police did not say why the altercation occurred, but they say the men all knew each other.
 
Both Finks have been charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Alan Fink is also facing a public drunkenness charge.
