Traffic Stop In Altoona leads To Charges



A midnight traffic stop in Altoona has resulted in charges against two out of town men.
 
City police tell WRTA News they stopped a vehicle driven by 23 year old Kenneth Harrell of East Orange, New Jersey, in the 2400 block of 6th Avenue.  During the stop it was discovered that there was a Blair County Sheriff’s Warrant out on Harrell.  He was also charged with giving police a false ID, and having a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
 
The passenger in Harrell’s vehicle, 24 year old William Brown JR of Williamsport, had numerous warrants out on him.  He was also charged with giving police a false ID and possessing 8.2 grams of crack cocaine.
