In June 2011, Penn State Altoona Musicologist Jerry Zolten invited a very special guest: Ann De Prospo, who as Ann Palmer, had played piano professionally. As a child performing Mozart with Arturo Toscanini, and later for a time with Major Bowes Original Amateur Hour on network radio in the 1930s. At age 97 her memories of show business were priceless, and her playing was flawless. Ann De Prospo passed away at age 99 in March 2013. We thank her and her family for sharing her stories and music with us.
