We now know the identity of the motorcycle operator killed over the weekend in Blair County.
44 year old Randy Steward died in the two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Catherine Township. The crash occurred just before 1:00 when according to State Police Steward was traveling eastbound on State Route 22 and lost control of his Harley Davidson while changing lanes. The bike ended up in the westbound lane where it collided with a vehicle driven by 32 year old Jerry Rucker. Steward and his passenger, 43 year old Jaynette Steward, were thrown from the motorcycle. Jaynette Steward was life-flighted to Altoona regional with major injuries. Both Stewards were wearing helmets.
Rucker and two passengers in the other vehicle were uninjured.
The crash forced the closing of Route 22 for about two hours.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
