City Police Make Early Morning Arrest In Home Intrusion Incident
Drugs and or alcohol may have led to an arrest of an Altoona man early this morning.
City police tell WRTA News that around 3:30 they responded to the 400 block of 57 street for a report of a burglary in progress. That’s where they came upon 34 year old Raymond Lang Jr.
Police believe Lang may have been disoriented either due to alcohol or some sort of drug use and tried to get into the wrong home. Lang pounded on the door to the residence and when the home owner opened the door, Lang tried to push his way past him. At that point, police say the homeowner produced a handgun and Lang backed out of the house. Lang also is accused of stealing a sweatshirt from a car on that block.
Lang was taken into custody and faces charges of Burglary, Theft, Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, Public Drunkenness.
