Blair County appears to have ended 2011 with money in the bank.
 
Controller Richard Peo says preliminary numbers also show that Valley View Nursing Home was in the black. Peo says auditors from Young Oakes Brown & Company have been reviewing the books over the past several weeks but nothing will be official until the county receives its full audit report.
