The Blair County Commissioners are planning for a 10-percent budget cut in social and human services from Harrisburg.
 
Commissioner Terry Tomassetti says that’s less than the county had originally anticipated. But he says the reduction of the funds combined with the Corbett Administration’s block-grant funding system will mean a lot of work ahead for the board. The commissioners and a coalition of employees from the seven impacted departments will work to develop a funding formula.
