Joe Paterno’s gravesite just outside State College continues to draw an onslaught of visitors.
A stone marker has now been placed at the final resting place for the former, longtime Penn State Football coach and philanthropist. Paterno died on January 22nd after a short battle with lung cancer. His death came just two months after he was relived from his coaching duties in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
Paterno was buried in the Spring Creek Presbyterian Cemetery – a 200-year-old gravesite located on a hillside with a view of Mount Nittany. A number of Revolutionary War soldiers are also buried on the property.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
