An Altoona man was stabbed Wednesday afternoon during an argument over a woman.
 
Around 2:30 city police were called to a disturbance at a home at 1813 12^th Avenue – and learned that William Golson had been stabbed three times. He was found a short time later at a service station down the street from the incident and transported to the Altoona Regional Trauma Center. His injuries are not life-threatening.
 
Officers arrested John Frederick and charged him with aggravated assault and related offenses.
