Jerry Sandusky's attorney Karl Rominger over the weekend said he and Attorney Joe Amendola tried to get out of Sandusky's case the morning of jury selection, because they felt inadequately prepared for trial.
That request of course was denied by Judge John Cleland.
The Sandusky defense team had sought continuances so they could study thousands of pages of documents that prosecutors acquired over the three-year grand jury investigation.
Following the guilty verdict on Friday night, Amendola said he was, at times, "flying by the seat of his pants" during the trial because he wasn't ready.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
