Thursday’s ruling from the United States Supreme Court on the Affordable Healthcare Act drew strong reactions from WRTA listeners, most of whom were upset with the decision.
Callers to the station’s talk shows used the venue to voice their opinions.
One listener told WRTA’s Dave Barger that Republicans are partially to blame.
Another caller suggested that the ruling will only reinvigorate the Tea Party movement saying organizers won’t be folding up their tents anytime soon.
Listeners also suggested that they were stunned that conservative Justice John Roberts would have sided with the court’s more liberal justices on a bill that has such drastic consequences.
