As residents swelter through summer time heat here in Pennsylvania, air quality can become an issue for some people.
According to Jerry Medinger of the American Lung Association, most people don’t realize how much air they take in every day.
The extreme heat will also translate to some bad-air days, with higher ozone levels or increased particulate pollution. The Lung Association has a website called State of the Air-dot-org that will give you hourly updates on the air quality where you live.
