Spanier Wants Court to Overrule PSU Objection to His Lawsuit
Former Penn State president Graham Spanier is asking a Centre County judge to throw out the university’s objection to releasing internal Emails he sent in relation to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.
Spanier filed a lawsuit against the school last month, saying he needs the emails to cooperate with investigators looking into the matter. The university asked the court to throw out the lawsuit because of the active investigation. A Penn State spokesperson says that the State Attorney General’s Office has directed the university to withhold the information because releasing it could compromise the ongoing investigation.
Spanier has not been charged with a crime in connection with the case. But two other university officials are facing perjury charges and they stand accused of not reporting the crime.

Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
