Logan Township ended 2011 at $93,000 in the black.
That’s according to an audit presented to the supervisors at last night’s township meeting. David Scott of Young Oakes Brown says the township’s fund balance stands at $1.9-million.
The township raised taxes by 2-mills this year to offset higher operating costs. Supervisor Ed Frontino praised the township’s administrative staff.
Scott says the audit report was comprehensive because of the amount of federal dollars that move through the budget.
