PSP Release Name of Logger Killed in Accident



State Police have now released the name of the Huntingdon County man killed last week in a logging accident.
 
Troopers identified the victim as 46-year-old Ray Allen McCabe of Alexandria. McCabe was killed Friday morning while cutting down trees on a property off Walnut Springs Lane in Catherine Township. Investigators found McCabe pinned to the ground underneath a tree.
 
He died of blunt force trauma to the chest. The Blair County Coroner’s office has ruled McCabe’s death an accident.
