Hazy, hot and humid will continue to describe much of Pennsylvania's weather, at least for the next few days.
Heat warnings and advisories will remain in effect throughout much of Pennsylvania on Wednesday as temperatures continue to hover well into the 90s. Altoona reached a high of 95 degrees on Tuesday. The National Weather Service in State College says a slow-moving front is coming in approaches from the north that's expected to pump up the humidity along with the heat.
That means that it will feel even more uncomfortable than the number on the thermometer. There may be some thunderstorms coming along for the ride later today.
The good news: Cooler temperatures are on the way for much of Pennsylvania. The Weather Service says it will be cooler and drier starting Friday and into the weekend with temperatures in the 80s.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
