Altoona Man Faces Charges After Fight Over Video Game
An argument over a video game resulted in charges being filed against an Altoona man last night.
Police tell WRTA News that the incident occurred at a residence on the 1500 block of 18th Street around 8:30 when 24 year old Adamec Stevens, of 125 Fox Glove Road, broke the video game and was confronted by his 17 year old ex-girlfriend.
Stevens allegedly struck the girl several times in the face, dragged her around and choked her. He is also accused of wielding a knife and threatening to kill the ex-girlfriend and another female, 18 year’s old. Police say Stevens held the girls captive for a time before fleeing the home.
He was apprehended a couple blocks from the scene.
Stevens is facing various charges including false imprisonment, simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment.
