Hollidaysburg Area School District board members accepted assistant superintendent Dr. Gary Robinson’s retirement request at last night’s meeting.
 
Superintendent Dr. Paul Gallagher says Robinson, who will leave at the end of the 2012-13 school year, will be missed.
 

 
Gallagher says it’s too early to say what will happen with the vacated position, especially with budget getting harder to balance each year.
 

 
Robinson joined the district in 1991 as the high school principal before being named to his current position.
