Three people are facing charges this morning in connection with two stabbings in Altoona.
The first incident occurred a little before 9:30 Sunday night on the 200 block of Lloyd Street. City police tell WRTA News that 48 year old Mona Jones was arrested for stabbing her boyfriend in the arm. He was treated at Altoona Regional and released.
Among the charges Jones is facing: Domestic Violence, Aggravated Assault, and Simple Assault.
The second incident was called in just after midnight. Officers were called to the 400 block of 12th Street for a domestic dispute. During the physical altercation, police say that 39 year old Taiyuan Wright assaulted a 40 year old woman who goes by the name LeBertha Dukes Wright. He then left the scene but returned a short while later only to have LeBertha Wright stab him in the chest. Taiyuan Wright forced his way back into the residence where he allegedly assaulted her again.
Both were taken to the hospital. LeBertha Wright was treated for a broken leg, head contusions and cuts and then released. Taiyuan Wright was admitted and is being treated for two stab wounds to the chest.
Both are being charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Domestic Violence and related charges.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
